Application Overview

We are honoured that you are considering Beautiful Saviour Lutheran School for your child’s education. In addition to viewing this website, we welcome you to a personalized tour any time throughout the year. Applications are also accepted throughout the year, so if your child’s class is full at the current time or you are looking for a place in the future your name will be placed on our waiting list.

Please come and visit our Birchdale and/or St. Mary’s Campus to get a true depiction of what Beautiful Saviour is all about. We welcome your e-mail or call to arrange a personal tour. We are here to answer all of your questions pertaining to your child’s education at BSLS.

If you are interested in attending any of our programs – Elementary or High School, Childcare; BASC, Daycare, Junior Kindergarten or Nursery – you must first fill out our Online Application Form for the appropriate program (see below).

Elementary School:

Kindergarten – Grade 8 Application Process

Submit the online application form, applicable fees/tuition and required paperwork to the admissions office at admissions@bsls.ca.

  1. Fees include:
    • Non-Refundable $55.00 application fee
    • Assessment Fee of $125.00 for students entering grades 1-8
  2. Required paperwork includes:
    • Copy of birth certificate
    • Completed Student profile
    • Previous Report Card
    • Any previous assessments your child has had and supporting documents
    • Documentation of any medical diagnoses

Kindergarten and New Student Interviews will begin the last week of February.   You will be contacted to set up an interview appointment. Please note kindergarten and new student applicants will be notified of their entry to BSLS after the interview process.  If a classroom is full at the time, your child will be placed on the waiting list and you will be contacted as spaces open.

High School:

Grade 9 Application Process

Submit the online application form, fees/tuition and required paperwork to the admissions office at admissions@bsls.ca.

  1. Fees include:
    • Non-Refundable $130.00 application fee
  2. Required paperwork includes:
    • Current photograph 
    • First term report card 
    • Final report card from the previous year 
    • Certificates of achievement – (optional) 
    • Character references from alumni, coaches, etc. – (optional) 
    • Documentation of any medical diagnosis that we require for the educational planning or safety of child(ren) 

Childcare:

Daycare –

    • Submit a completed online application form and your child will be added to our waitlist. 
    • When a space is available the Program Director will will be in contact with you, at which time a $200.00 non-refundable deposit will be required.
    • Fees/tuition

Junior Kindergarten –

    • Submit a completed online application form and our Childcare Program Director will be in contact with you.
    • Upon acceptance to the program a one month non-refundable fee will be required
    • Fees/tuition

Nursery –

    • Submit a completed online application form and our Childcare Program Director will be in contact with you
    • Upon acceptance to the program a one month non-refundable fee will be required
    • Fees/tuition

Once you have completed and submitted the Online Application Form, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Office.  Upon completion of the review, your application will be passed to our Childcare Program Director, who will be in contact with you
