Welcome To Beautiful Saviour Lutheran School

For over 40 years, Beautiful Saviour Lutheran School has provided quality, Christian education in a safe, caring, family-like environment here in Winnipeg. Through our K-11 school located in Norwood Flats, and our daycare on St. Mary’s, our mission is to provide Excellence in Education, Under the Gospel—a faith-based education for every child, so they may grow into strong, caring, and competent adults, made in God’s image.

We are excited to offer K-12 education in the 27/28 school year, with the help of our brand new high school building expansion!

Our High School Expansion Is Here

On April 13, 2026, BSLS broke ground to start building the first Lutheran high school under the LCC (Lutheran Church Canada) in Canada.

Our high school building expansion is planned to open in January 2027. In the meantime, high school classes will be held in our current building.

Starting this 26-27 school year, BSLS will offer grades 9-11. The following academic year, BSLS will complete our high school grade expansion by offering grade 12:

  • 2027-28: Grade 12 (All grades K-12 available)

Our Guiding Principles

Christ

Everything we do at BSLS is built on the love and knowledge of God, and our rock Jesus Christ. From daily devotion to weekly chapel, we give students the spiritual tools to grow in their individual journeys with God.

Community

At BSLS, we prioritize creating an environment that always has a family feel. Whether between students, parents, teachers, and everyone in between, we truly have a community where everyone feels welcome and at home.

Growth

Through smaller class sizes, BSLS provides a high quality learning experience—giving your child more 1-on-1 time with teachers, helping them grow in faith, knowledge, and character.
