Missions

The BSLS mission trip proved to be a meaningful and impactful experience for our Grade 10 students. It provided a valuable opportunity to engage with a new community, where students met a wide range of people, were introduced to a different language, and experienced new foods and cultural practices. These moments helped broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding of the world beyond their own.

During the trip, students daily participated in sharing the word of God while also focusing on building connections, particularly with the children while their parents were able to receive the word of God during Bible Study.

Our students provided activities like making crafts, singing songs, puppet shows and enjoyed spending time together. Our students built relationships with the church community.

Prior to the Mission Trip the students held fundraisers to raise funds for the crafts, snacks and hampers for the community.  With these funds they were able to serve approximately 70 children each day and  distribute over 100 hampers to community members.  This effort reinforced the importance of service and compassion.
